I had a bad glow plug on my sailboat's onboard diesel so I bought a pair of these. The nut on top can be ideal for an industrial or tractor engine (generally less prone to corrosion). Why not just install a standard nut? I had to run to the hardware store to get two. Just to make sure I can delete them after a while. However, the ones I replaced have been in the engine for many years; Proof of NGK's high quality standards. And as soon as he was in place, the engine started. Therefore 4 stars. I would choose 4.5 if that was an option!
