Compulsory Air Compressor Items

For a while I ran my compressor without a water separator. I reasoned that draining the tank would be all I needed. I was wrong. I soon became frustrated with moisture leaking from my gun, moisture getting into my car tires (causing damage to your wheels) and moisture leaking from my air tools. So I bought everything in one block. It looked a bit small when it arrived, but it turned out to be a fantastic all-rounder. It removes water and rust, dust and other debris that gets into the air hose. You simply press the valve at the bottom of the bowl to empty it. I put a bucket under the bowl valve to catch the water. The regulator on top makes it easy to set and change your desired hose pressure when needed, and locks in place so you don't accidentally change it. It's also easy to separate the oiler from the water filter, which I did. Not all my air needs tool oil. In between I installed a tee which allows me to install a hose fitting for filtered air without going through the lubricator and then another hose fitting coming out of the lubricator for all my air tools. Adding a few check valves and simple bleed valves makes it easier to refill the lubricator with oil without having to unload the entire air system. I installed a second one of the same type on my air jack and the jack works better than ever. If you use an air compressor at home or at work, I recommend installing this device on it. You won't be disappointed, you'll love your compressor more and it'll be a lifesaver for your air tools (they need dry, lubricated air).
