Poor quality control, not worth the cost.

the star because the only good thing is the place, hard wood to the touch is not like that. It's so soft that even light hits will dent the head.* The hammer seems pretty solid, but the quality control is terrible. The hole is because the handle on the head looks like it was gouged out with a dull butter knife. I'm surprised the friction fit works at all. The finish, which at first seems unnecessary, is semi-finished, with drips on some surfaces and overspray on others. Even the logo is only half printed making it look used or worn. There are debts or other traces on the handle. It's a terrible quality everywhere. The only positives are that it's a solid piece of wood and the grip is relatively comfortable, if overdone or balanced. Overall, this is a $10 tool at best. I'm only keeping it because I need it right now and don't feel like returning it. I would NOT recommend this. It only gets two stars because its wood is quite durable. Literally spend a dollar or two more and get something better.

Pros
  • Tapered handle for added strength Wooden hammer head secured with a 12" tapered beech handle to prevent head falling Handle is also smooth, chip free and comfortable to grip
Cons
  • No instructions
