These are exactly as advertised. We are using them on a covered porch to hold two square and quite heavy planters. So far so good. The caps took a little elbow grease to push in. The feet are adjustable, which worked great in getting them level and sturdy. Two nits:1. It's difficult to tighten the screws adjusting the width of the plant stand with the planter in place for a tight fit, but that's mostly my problem.2. There are two types of caps--flat caps for the top and adjustable foot caps for the bottom (they have built in screws to adjust height). They're placed based on how you orient the height of the stand. Once in place, the caps are VERY onerous to get off (which, to be fair, the directions do warn about), but that also means it will be difficult to change the height of the plant stand by flipping it over (which would require swapping the caps). If you know you'll never want to change the height, then no problem. But be aware if you think you can just turn it upside down.
