Bought five lights to replace twenty year-old fluorescent fixtures. Once installed, these lights are great. They are much brighter than the old lights. However, there are some issues with the installation process. First, the directions are Spartan at best consisting of a few pictures and sparse "chinglish” text. I’ve installed a lot of lights so knew what to do. Second, the cable clamp is very small. A 14/2 wire barely fits through it and I had one light that required two 14/2 wires. I salvaged the cable clamps from the old fixtures and used them on the new lights. This required using the larger cable clamp opening or enlarging the smaller opening if the light needs to be centered under the cabinet. Third, the lights come with cheap wire nuts. I used quick connection clamps instead. They were much easier than trying to fasten wire nuts under the cabinets. Fourth, the mounting screws are about 5/8” long. These are OK as long as the bottom of the cabinet is a full 3/4” thick but will penetrate 1/2” thick cabinets. Finally, I managed to disassemble the lights for mounting without difficulty. I’m not sure if I got the center tab in place while reassembling since it is covered with a warning decal but didn’t see where doing so was essential.I would buy these again but certainly would upgrade the cable clamps and wire nuts.
