Review on Ultimate Comfort And Warmth With Terramar Women'S Thermasilk Pointelle Pant by Todd Nordine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great as an undergarment.

I love these! I don't like the expense of purchasing opaque tights that aren't silk. These are great for under garments for my medieval re-enactment events in the winter. Silk has wondrous properties. In fact.I purchased these to wear under my roman temple priestess costume in a wedding I am performing next weekend. Temperatures have dipped recently into serious brrrr factor. Looking forward to wearing my fine roman attire.NOTE:I wore the tights under the costume and I loved them. Some may be surprised that it wasn't the "status factor, or luxury" that had me wanting silk. Silk has some wonderful properties, it doesn't wick moisture beyond the tensile surface. It doesn't breath as a fiber or stretch, so the waffle pattern is important in allowing multiple sized and shaped people to wear this product. While not a solid sheet of silk it definitely does the job of a pair of nylon panty hose. Did you know that Joe Nameth used to wear panty hose playing football in snow and ice? Mountaineers would wear them under their thermals? Maybe I'm dating myself here. With my dogs, panty hose don't last long in our house, these are much more durable and well worth the price in my opinion. As an added value, it is just enough to keep chafing to a minimum. Win win in my book.

Pros
  • Smooth waistband won't dig into skin
Cons
  • May cause irritation or itching for some users
