Sufficiently strong plastic bracket. The recommended app (PicScanner) is easy to use but produces small (150-200 KB) JPEG images on my iPhone 8. Much better quality images can be achieved with another app: Mag-Light. These images are 1.2-1.6MB in size and render decently on a large screen. The sample photos attached were copies of slides taken in Europe over 60 years ago. The quality is quite acceptable for home projection. I've tried several other ways to copy slides and this is by far the easiest solution.
