I don't know how this item ever got into mainstream distribution. There is no mechanism to prevent the rectangular adapter from suddenly loosening and spinning wildly in both axes. Luckily this only hurt my project and not me personally, but I can imagine how many people will be hurt if the adapter is accidentally disconnected. I would now categorically NOT buy this again as I have seen it repeatedly but unpredictably weaken spontaneously and would not recommend anyone to buy it. Find another way to get into hard-to-reach places.
