Review on Brookstone Play Sand With Sandbox by Jaime Benenati

Revainrating 1 out of 5

A shameful attempt to create an amazing product

I originally bought Brookstone Sånd in 2014 on the advice of my daughter's occupational therapist. It was a very popular pastime for every member of our family. It took seven years (and could have taken twice as long) for my young son to get the sand out on the streets "where it belongs". While shopping for Christmas gifts I was so excited to stumble across Brookstone Sand on Revain and quickly ordered two as gifts. . And wow. bad wow It looks like a cheap trick, which you can find five of below. First of all, I would like to point out that this is done in the original packaging. And the sticker is NO GIVEAWAY. This will make the item "untalented". With our original sand, kinetic sand came in an amazing screw-top storage container. This set comes in a poorly packaged zippered bag. The sand is also scarce. "Wood" shapes are splinter, soft woods that, frankly, are total junk. The ONLY plus is that the wooden box is really strong and hard and the sand itself is still soft and the (ugly) blue paint doesn't come off your hands but honestly don't waste your money on this product. Don't buy this.

Pros
  • An educational gift for children. If you're looking for a stress-relieving, creative and educational gift for kids, check out the Brookstone Sand Play Set. You and your child will have lots of fun making figures and mini sculptures.
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
