When I bought this monitor it was a great deal. I've always used Viewsonic. My first flat CRT was a Viewsonic which lasted almost 10 years. can damage them even during an earthquake by falling and landing either on the keyboard or on something on the table - table etc. I usually put a thick towel on my desk and turn off the monitor and turn it off because it's for me buying monitors is expensive. Where I live now the prices are stupid and the stores come up with a bunch of bulls just to get an extra $50 for anything that sells less elsewhere.
