I have been playing flag football and man do I sweat. Got these headbands to try to get around that issue. I dont like to use it full opened up, but partially folded in. But as a result when I take off the headband, it does leave some indentation in my forehead that looks pretty bad at times. Usually like 20-30 min and it is gone as the skin goes back to its normal shape, but found that to be a pretty big issue.But outside of that I think the headband works well and I do still use it for football. It keeps the sweat away from my eyes for the most part but usually by the 2nd game it is so drenched with sweat, it does start to get oversaturated and it will stop working. It might be better if it had those plastic inserts that diverts the sweat to the side of your face.Overall it is sufficient in doing its job, but it isnt an obvious winner for me
