The Mr. Heater Vent-Free Blue Flame Heater really puts out the Heat. We usually don't have to set the dial above three; it goes up to five. My husband found it easy to install as we were replacing an older unit on the wall. W already had the gas line, but had to buy a connection kit with a shut-off valve.We did have to contact customer service initially because of loud banging noises that occurred with temperature changes within the unit. It took a couple of attempts and few days for customer service to respond. The first rep told us to make sure the dial was directly on a number and not in between numbers on the temp dial. That was a "yeah, right" moment. Of course that didn't help. Another rep returned our email and suggested another unit. We contacted Revain, made arrangements to return the original unit, and ordered a new one.The new one makes a quieter bang when you first turn it on, but that's it. We are more than satisfied.
