Review on ❄️ IceTrekkers Diamond Grip Traction Cleats - Enhance Traction & Safety (1 Pair) by Hugh Starr

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First impression and 1 year update

So finally I could use them. Here there were icy sidewalks after the storm. They held my feet very well and adhered very well to the ice, allowing me to walk at a normal gait. You helped a lot! The only thing I noticed is that they wear out pretty quickly on concrete. I walked about 5 km in total. Probably 2.5 miles on firm snow and ice and 2.5 on concrete base. I don't drag my feet to keep them from slipping on the floor (I think that wears them out very quickly). I came home and just took them off and checked them out. Many formerly sharp metal edges are now rounded. They still worked just as well at the end of my ride as they did when I started, so I'm not sure they were rounded enough to affect performance. Moral of the story: don't use them on concrete more than necessary. Although they appear to be very durable and it seems they will last a long time. I hope they continue to do well on the ice. I'll update this when I've used them a lot more. 1 year update: So I've been using them for a year here and there (winter only of course) and they seem to work just as well as when I first got them. I've actually only used them a few times. They rust pretty quickly but still do the job. How long? I'm not sure. I'm still keeping the 4 star rating because they're useful, but I've since started using microspikes instead as they're so much better for what I do. However, they are excellent for city runs on icy days.
