OEM is so clumsy and difficult to install. It's much lighter, so much so that you can hold it with one hand while you start tightening the screw with the other. Also, there are cable ports on the side that you can reach. This allows you to install the starter BEFORE attaching the cables. With the OEM you have to hold it close enough to the cables with one hand and tighten the cables with the other hand THEN the battle is only half over. done when you try to insert the screws to install it on the car. I ended up returning this one because the one I got from Jegs (EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL) was still working after 1.5 years of electrical troubleshooting on my Nova.
