Closed water shoes

My teenager wears an average size 13 in regular shoes or hiking boots. His foot is quite narrow, but we don't need to buy shoes marked "narrow". Since there was no size over 12, we took a chance. He has kayaked 20 miles in 2 days with Scouts in them. He also used them for sailing boats and walking on boat decks without pain. He usually wears arch supports. His foot was snug but not so tight that we needed a size up as water shoes would normally be snug. It had enough room in the toe box to make up for the lack of length. I'm not saying that every man with 13/14 men's shoes will do, but we were very fortunate. I also think a standard 12 foot person would fit well. The shade of green was nice because it wasn't flat black. Velcro helps adjust to your needs. I'm sure they'll survive the season and beyond as they remind me of the $$$ tokens. PS: Please do not wear socks with sandals. Would buy again!
