Review on 🚰 Danco 10670 Single Handle Faucet Cartridge for Aqua Source/Glacier Bay - Plastic and Brass Construction by Brandon Christianson

Perfect, accurate replacement for my 10 year old Glacier Bay shower faucet cartridge as advertised. Easy installation, only basic tools required (Phillips screwdriver, water pump pliers, Allen wrench). The only caveat - the cartridge was delivered partially disassembled. There's basically only one right way to put parts together, so it's not hard to figure out, but if you're not familiar with these devices (like me) it may take a while. I somehow flipped part of the assembly, installed it, turned on the water, and hot came out first (COLD should always come out first). So just disassembled again, seen errors, rebuilt and reinstalled, now it works great. The important thing here is that it is technically possible to make a wrong connection, so be careful. When installed, the handle should operate smoothly and not with a "click" motion like I originally did. Better than calling a plumber.
