I installed this three days ago and although I would normally wait months for a full review I wanted to post a review so people can read who can see the product and not sure if they should get it - like I was. Got it. I've been looking at the various options I have for getting hot water to my sink around the house. I looked at various water recycling systems including Lang and Watt pumps. Laing is ridiculously expensive ($300-$400) and the Watt system requires two different mounting points, which was a problem with my hybrid water heater with horizontal inlet/outlet nipples. So I saw it. Strange brand name, poor English and half the price of other options. All signs of Chinese junk, right? Yeah I thought so, but with the Prime guarantee and free returns I figured why not give it a try. It came in two days and I immediately went to installation. From the packaging the quality of the product was good. It has a plastic shell that cannot be removed so I don't know what it looks like inside but it feels solid and heavy. The included components and accessories are of the same quality as everything in the HD and it includes everything you need to install. Due to the awkward position under my sink and the awkward angles, it took me about 45 minutes to install - no. product wine. I set it up and plugged it in and it started right away. The pump cycle ran for about 30 seconds and shut down. I turned on the hot water and voila, instant heat. It worked. No leaks, explosions etc etc. The pump runs very quietly and doesn't last long. You will never notice. Here are a few things to note: - The instructions aren't very good, but if you're a professional and have plumbing installed you can do it. - Everything you need is included. Use 3/8" to 1/2" stainless steel adapters to connect existing utility lines to copper tees. (There is no need to unplug the supplies from the faucet.) - To change modes, press and hold your finger on the button until it changes color. - As with all non-loop systems, a chilled water line is used to return water to the water heater. This will make your cold water warm. If this is a problem for you, you're out of luck. - If the pump cycle hasn't run for a while, the water will warm up for a moment, but it's still much better than ice cold. Impact on my electricity bill. I have noticed that the water heater runs more often but I don't think it will have a huge impact and the savings on the water bill should offset this. I will be updating this in a few months to evaluate the effectiveness of the different modes and the impact on my electric and water bills, but I would recommend this product to anyone based on initial performance alone.
