I've been looking to get a crystal ball for awhile. I'm glad I bought this one. Very nice. I have it set up on my desk where i can look at it while writing. I haven't seen the winning lottery numbers appear yet but I feel it's only a matter of time. Seriously, I can't speak to whether or not this would be a serious divination tool. It is very pretty and interesting to look at. Mine is very light shade of purple, a little lighter than the one in the picture. Perfectly round, smooth, and clear. I can see myself getting others in different colors. The gift box holds the ball and base well. Would make a very unique and special gift.
