Although my daughter LOVES this toy I am very disappointed. We've only had it a few months and some of the paint has already worn off and the cubes don't stick together well. When you pick it up, the pieces come off so easily you have to support it with both hands or it will fall apart. The volume control isn't great either. Either too loud or too quiet. But I think it's good that he understands. My daughter has special needs and delayed motor skills. Separate places give her the opportunity to work while she learns to crawl and sit.
