Review on Optimized Cycling Rain Poncho: Ultra-Light Bike Raincoat with Reflective Strips by Alex Solano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best bike raincoat for the money

I waited to review until we had a couple of heavy downpours. This rain cape saved me from the unpredictable weather of the Pacific Northwest. The raincoat hood nestles snugly against the head and can be worn comfortably under a helmet. See-through hood side panels improve peripheral visibility. The material of the cloak itself seems quite durable and I haven't noticed any wear and tear from folding it inwards a few dozen times. The reflective visibility stripes are a nice feature, although the stripes are quite narrow. The hand signal holes are large, allowing you to signal with relative ease and then return to the dry cocoon. Cycling with a raincoat is more comfortable than a raincoat plus pants in warmer, wet weather as it provides good ventilation and is quick to put on. and take photos in changeable weather. This cape (poncho) combines the main features of the most beautiful rain cape with an affordable price.
