Review on Omix Ada 16914 05 Clutch Fork by Wayne Martin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sorts correct on forks

Well it's sort of right but needs modification to make it work. Here are 3 problems I had with it: 1: It's a bit longer than the original. The length exceeds the end of the pusher. Only makes installation more difficult if you do it through the transmission hole. The rest is nothing to worry about. 2: The hole for the internal compression spring is in the wrong place and there isn't a small cutout in it to hold the spring. I fixed this by drilling a hole to allow the spring to engage a little further toward the throwout bearing.3. The biggest problem I had was that the throwout bearing lugs were twisted, causing the bearing to catch. I had to twist the tabs to make them parallel. Yes, it was nice to get a new part, but damn it sucks when you have to change it right away.

Pros
  • clutches and parts
Cons
  • poorly thought out
