The RFID chip must be removed from the old key!

When I received this it was easy to switch from the old key to the new key but when I received the new key my key wouldn't start. I didn't read it in the product description: WARNING: In this case there is no chip holder and you have to remove the key fob sheet into this case without cutting the sheet. It made no sense. I put it off for a few weeks before coming back to try again. After watching a few YouTube videos, I found out that the reason was that I didn't remove the RFID chip (which tells the key to start the car) from my old key and put it in the new one housing. When I did that, everything worked wonderfully. Removing the chip from my old key was not an easy task. The original key is in a protective piece of plastic (see picture). Not wanting to risk damaging the RFID chip, instead of trying to remove the chip from it, I cut it out with a copy saw and had to sand down the protection area to fit the new cover. But I finally managed to fit in and put everything together. Now I have my key back. Watch the YouTube video to decide for yourself how to remove the RFID chip.
