Bottom-line: It is a cardboard paper organizer. For the price it does "just fine". I use two of these (I am buying the second one today) to store my quarter-size Imperial watercolor papers and it works great. It holds my cutting tools, rulers, tapes, and anything else that I need when mounting watercolor paper to boards, or it holds the tools required for framing. It keeps my three 24"x48" counter-height tables clutter free. It does the job. And, it appears to be made of recycled paper too!Suggestion for the manufacturer: Consider providing a piece of plastic that would be placed "inside" of the middle support? This would give the shelf a little more rigidity for heavy objects sitting on top of the shelf unit.
