We love the remote control and although you can adjust the brightness in increments we use the 25%/50%/100% brightness buttons. I installed and use this product under our kitchen cabinets for about a month and I love it. The remote control comes with a small "saddle" that holds it when attached to the side of the microwave. You don't need to remove the remote from this mount/holder to operate it, so it's small and petite. The cables were quite long, but they were a bit tricky to mount under the cabinets. I used clear tape which worked but then found "cable clips" at Revain which I ordered for the backup but don't need yet. I had to replace the LED dimmer as the lights just flickered and didn't stay on all the time. In fact, we no longer use the switch and leave it on all the time, preferring the remote to use the brightness we want for the occasion. Lots of smart women like this product so we're both happy! You also have two options for the power connection, a plug or a fixed cable, which means that trips to the hardware store are no longer necessary. Can I recommend this product YES, actually now I want to put it on my to-do list in our wardrobes. For reference, we ordered light colored pucks, not warm white ones.
