I originally wanted them to store a jeep hard top on my garage lift. I don't have long enough periods of fair weather here in Wisconsin to make it worth tossing it out of an elevator onto the drywall scaffolding I store it in, so it usually only hangs a few days before I need to attach it. return . I like to use something small to hook the rear window piston and then attach it to other things in my garage so it doesn't rotate at all when the wind blows. In this case, they are easy to use and easy to adjust. I'm not sure if we will be camping at all this summer or not thanks to Covid-19 so I can't testify directly with tents and tarps just yet, but I have no reason to think I'll have any problems if that's the case So far have worked so well with my other apps. Great price for four of them and I like the fact that they are reflective. I've had similar kits that didn't, so this would be a handy upgrade.
