so I have 5 bikes (one still under construction as parts are hard to come by during the pandemic) and any other than a new build, there are cheap 6 $ mirror. (who come in pairs). but they have the shittiest mounts and seeing the length of this very capable looking strap really drew me in. I knew others had commented on the size, but until it arrived I didn't know how small it actually was. was - despite the fact that the reviewers posted photos. As I said, no matter how it was positioned, you couldn't see anything but your own body. I've tried fork, frame (just not) and also bars. If you use the ends of a bar, it can stick there and clean your torso. I will confirm that the strap is the highlight of this piece. this exceeded 31.8 bar AND the clutch band. it is of course an achievement. It seems that these straps for mirrors and accessories never account for the sticky tape for the bars. Just make the straps long enough. It also had no vibrations during use when I looked at my leg, left arm, and torso. but despite the fact that it looks discreet and neat, it's useless if it can't show me when a car is approaching. . I will say the $20 price I paid was ridiculous as it doesn't have any better hardware or rotating mechanism than $6 mirrors. It's all plastic and I found it quite difficult to adjust. I think I thought the adjustment mechanism should be better at this price point. They most likely cost $2.60 to manufacture. The $6 mirrors I have can vibrate and often get in the way of my hand, but they give me a clear view of the road from the back and side. Unfortunately, the ones I have aren't currently available, otherwise I would have gone that route and saved myself the $20 fee and the hassle of returning it -- although Revain actually makes returns almost painless if you're a Prime -are a member.
