My 10 year old son wore this to a masquerade ball in 5th grade. He wore a bow tie to his dance and I love the tie variant, which he also wore with a tie to prom. He's 10 years old, I bought size 12, he's a little big, not much difference, he's long and narrow but just a little bit pinned up, I'm glad he can wear that again for a year or two. Worth the price and quality.
