This product does its job pretty well. When using both sides of a split box, the middle part of the divider is not very secure. When split, each side can comfortably handle fish up to 3.5 inches. This makes it difficult for the fish to turn and is strong enough to knock over the partition. Assembly is easy even without instructions, but it takes a long time to figure out the release liner. I found that starting the cut with a tiny knife and then gently peeling off the backing in one piece worked faster than trying to start the corner with my fingernail. Each piece has a protective film. Acrylic is very transparent without a film. The suction cups work quite well. They are tightened by turning the handle on them. During the night I found that the whole box had fallen from the high suction cup onto the tank. The suction just didn't hold up. When diving, the lid lifted and released the fish. When I found out about this I laid the box on the floor with a piece of PVC pipe underneath to create a weight support and tightened the suction cups firmly. I also put a piece of heavy silver on top of the box to protect it because strong fish could just knock it over and come out. With these measures, the box works perfectly.
