Excellent pH pen! It has powerful, fast and accurate calculations and an easy-to-use interface. The difference between a quality Bluelab pen and a cheaper one is immediately noticeable in use and design. It's got an impressive backlit display, temperature gauge, auto on/off, and a solid overall feel. Using a AAA battery is the most preferred over the tiny watch batteries used in most other pH pens. Don't waste your time looking for cheaper options. The "cheap" versions can't keep up in terms of build quality, accuracy, and durability. Not to mention, at the lower end of the price range, customer support is dismal, if not entirely absent. Bluelab's customer service is great and responds quickly to all my questions. There is also enough information about their products and their application online in the form of websites and videos. Be sure to purchase a bottle of additional KCl storage solution and pH 4 or 7 for monthly/weekly calibration.
