Took out our oven and microwave, planning to use this for baking and all. Think again! NO INSTRUCTIONS WHATSOEVER! A tiny little book gives a couple pages that tell you how to set times (somewhat) but very minimal. Says it can do microwave, convection, grill, and several combinations of those, but no mention of when or how one would use those. When would I want to use microwave and convection combo? No sample recipes. No explanations. Nada. So I went online to see what I could find. my Instant Pot and Air Fryer had sample recipes and all or you could go online for more, so I assumed this big old lug of a machine would also. Nope! Nada. It has a round, solid "frisbee" tray that they call a baking tray, but nowhere does it say HOW to use it. I have now destroyed 3 pizzas trying to figure out how and WHERE to cook it.on the glass round? On the frisbee? Do I oil the frisbee and put the pizza on it to crisp it? If I press the pizza button, when do I put the pizza in? Shouldn't it preheat or something? Nope. It never did. So I put it in and used a temp setting, which preheated, but the center was uncooked after 10 minutes. I also tried a casserole. Assumed I put it on the frisbee. Well, it has ridges that slope down and when the casserole was done, I couldn't figure out how to get it out of the hot frisbee without burning myself on the sides of the microwave (I was not successful). So I tried lifting out the whole frisbee with the casserole still i it and realized that pulling it out over my head was probably going to result in a face full of hot casserole. So next time I tried putting the casserole on a grated round metal rack. Of course as soon as it started rotating, the casserole slid off the back and now I had a hot glass plate that was catterwumpus and the rollers underneath up against the door. I swear, using this thing has been like an episode of I Love Lucy. All could have been solved if they had included a few simple recipes to get one started and a few instructions. Nope. Let's save money and not give 'em anything. Won't even mention the fact that I ordered a RecPro and was sent a Greystone (yes, I know Greystone became RecPro, but when I ordered from revain it said RECPRO. Clearly dumping old merchandise.a bait and switch as far as I am concerned. Bottom line is I will NERVER buy anything from RecPro again. Company sucks.
