I wish I could use large airstones on my soil filter from day one. I once replaced my little air stones with these WOW what a difference in filtering and keeping my tank clean. Since I have a very dirty red cheek and feeder fish that have bred and are now huge, they can foul a clean aquarium very quickly. I love these and will order more. I also have to say I have had air stones from other companies and although my air pump is strong they still haven't produced many bubbles. They produce bubbles, bubbles, bubbles galore!
