You don't always get what you pay for.
The clamps are a very important part of this unit. These clamps are designed for top post batteries only. It will not work for side post batteries at all. I have had to make adapters for side post batteries. I'm going to take the clamps off of the old charger and put them on this unit. The clamps are way too cheaply made as well as too small of structure. I'm learning.
