So first of all, the obvious. This is an 8mp 4k camera, so daytime image quality is about as good as you'll find. It works with my current setup, a simple off-the-shelf NVR setup, but I'm in the process of switching everything over to running everything off a CISCO switch with POE capability, so I'll update if I have issues.The one thing I wanted to note about this camera that I knew NOTHING about until I looked it up was the "vandal rating" of IK10. The IK rating goes from IK00 to IK10. IK00 means no protection. IK10 is the highest rating, and means that it is protected against 20 joules impact, which apparently is equivalent to the impact of a 5 kg mass dropped from 400 mm above impacted surface. So what all that means is that it should require a pretty ridiculous amount of impact to knock this thing offline. Those of you that live in an area where your security cameras might be vandalized might want to take this into consideration.
