I own a flower retail business and this T-Stat was the standard we've always used. After many years of service I finally got one of them out of service. After installing this new device, my cooler froze several times over several days. 3.5 degrees above the set value. In other words, if you set it to 40, it should turn on at 43.5. It's not like this. The device needs to be cooled at around 50 (set at 40). The main problem I have is the cooler dropping to 32 or less before the thermostat shuts off the cooling block and no longer calls for cooling. You will have a very big swing on this block so be aware. It is very difficult to levitate the device a few degrees to either side of the set value and for colors this is a very important component.
