I have 2 BattryMINDER and have had no problems with any of them. The Genius 10 appeared to have similar features at a much lower price. Most reviews were positive, however, some complained that the device overheats while charging. I'm usually lucky with electronics, but not this time. I let it charge overnight. The first hour was fine, but the next morning the battery was too hot to touch. I'm not sure if this is a defect or an issue with AGM batteries, but I would recommend extreme caution when looking at this unit. For me it was a waste of time. Update 21 11. I had an almost new five year old Exide that I was servicing with a BatteryMINDer crystal. It actually took longer than expected. No wonder, because the heat in Arizona quickly destroys batteries. I replaced it with an ACDelco AGM, but before I sent the Exide for recycling, I remembered that the NOCO Genius hadn't been used since I almost broke the last time. After removing the battery from the car to avoid damaging it, I plugged in the NOCO and put it into recovery mode. It was running its cycle and I was hoping I could recover the battery as a working spare. No luck, the battery actually lost cranking power! Right now, NOCO is a total waste. case is closed! Don't waste money.
