WOW! This is a SERIOUS band!

WOW! This is a **SERIOUS** record! I cut out a few strips to start the repair and taped them to the nearby wood strip for handy reference, and where the end of the tape only touched the drywall for a few seconds it immediately peeled off the paint (oops! - now another fix) . It's sticky enough that it's a little difficult to remove, and it's VERY sticky on my fingersโ€”not quite so much that it rips skin off, but just enough that I'm careful not to stick to my hands. lol. Found during the pandemic that the PVC pipe coming out of our oven (probably a condensate pipe) started to drip in two places where the PVC pipe was not properly glued to the elbow connectors. Wanted to try this Gorilla Tape as a temporary homemade solution to stop the dripping while we wait for things to settle down until a plumber comes to our house later. Following the instructions on the Gorilla Tape, I first cleaned the outside of the PVC pipe. (with a damp, soapy paper towel) and dried. Gorilla Tape is not difficult to work with except that it is very tacky and the drip area where the PVC pipe is taped to the elbow is a "stepped" size (the pipe is smaller than the elbow attached to it), so I wrap the Gorilla Tape over the joint and then overlap it both over and under the PVC joint area. I rubbed the tape as hard as I could to seal it as tightly as possible and remove as much air as possible from where the PVC elbow "goes down" to the size of the pipe (that's where the leak was and it's hard to secure). glue neatly into this rim). I put a plate of dry paper town under the old drip stain so it's easy to see if it's still leaking. It's been a full day and my drip tube is still bone dry. . What a great product!
