Review on 🔧 Disston Blu-Mol E0101959 Door Latch Mortise Tool by Jonathan Ulsth

First I tried a competing Ryobi model and this tool is better. The Ryobi chisel is poorly constructed as it breaks easily after a single use; Because of this I had to send it back. This tool has the best chisel design that seems solidly attached to the tool. While the Ryobi has a stop to better align the chisel, it's only slightly more useful, and making sure this tool is pointed straight down will give you the same results. Still, it's not perfect, and while you can get a good beginner's mortise slide, you'll still need chisels on hand to finish the job. Compared to manually chiseling from scratch, this tool is definitely a lot easier, so I highly recommend it.
