Works great with My Shopsmith
This adapter is well designed and precision machined to adapt a Shopsmith 5/8" spindle to a standard 1" 8 TPI lathe spindle. It fitted my Shopsmith Mark 5 (an old model from 1954) and fitted perfectly. On the other hand, it fits perfectly with the Teknatool lathe chuck I bought to go with it. The adapter is milled from a solid block of steel and is very well made.
