I installed this kit in hopes I could go without propane when camping with hookups. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem powerful enough to heat the entire tank. It was fine for quick jobs like washing my hands and face or doing dishes, but I still have to use propane to shower or bathe my dog. One thing I haven't considered is the fact that I have a 30 amp camper. and the outlets next to the tank don't match the type of current this thing draws, so he turned the switch off. For me this was an easy fix by running it straight to the junction box, but that's something to consider if you have a small camper like mine. After installing the entire kit, I found that the power cord has a small notch. That. The package wasn't damaged and doesn't look like it was a return so I'm not sure what happened there. I ended up just using duct tape to hold it together so maybe that did the trick. I contacted Revain to try and replace this part as at this point it would be almost impossible to remove the entire kit to return. I'll update the rating based on the clearance I get.**UPDATE: I've asked for help with a cable replacement. They don't have spare parts so they sent me a brand new kit to take what I need and return. Customer service was very quick and easy. They were very accommodating and replacing the cut cable seems to have improved the functionality of the kit. If you're worried about the water not being hot enough with this kit, I've attached a photo of partially melted water. Bottle. Definitely warm :)
