My daughters needed thicker gloves to play in the snow so I found this pair and am very happy with their quality. We live in a wooded area with a lake so the kids love to play in the snow and I find these gloves are great for the snow as long as it's not too muddy. If it's too wet or if the kids get in the mud their hands will still get cold, which I think is the case with any pair of gloves you would get if they weren't waterproof. These are the perfect gloves for regular snow play and I think they will last even a day of skiing. All in all, the quality for the price is unbeatable.
