Good product, most suitable for optical drive
I have a new MacBook Pro that doesn't include a DVD drive so it was necessary to purchase this. It's just as easy to use as advertised. I just plugged it in, put in my DVD and a window popped up to run it. I've only had it a few months and have only used it a few times but so far so good.
- โฎReasonable Designโฏ: It's Type-C, you don't have to worry about missing cables from Type-C super drive. The cable is integrated into the super hard drive. If you want to open a CD, there is no popup: On Windows, right-click and then click Popup. Toss it in the trash on a Mac and it will pull the CD out of the box.
