Bought a new desktop SSD with a 3.5" bay. It is required to convert a 2.5" SSD to a 3.5" desktop. It works. And the included screws are better than my stock screws. I'm new to computers and can tell if I can do it. So you can! Enough holes are pre-drilled to likely accommodate a wide range of different possible HDDs/SSDs. I confess that when I bought it I was afraid that the holes wouldn't fit. It didn't (pun intended). Fits perfectly on my SSD. I also bought a Sabrent hard drive enclosure to use my old hard drive as an external of course. This product works great too. So, Sabrent, I will definitely be buying future products!
