I use this on my heavy duty cast iron table saw. I have worked with wood for over 40 years and have used many different types of featherboards and there is no doubt that this is the best design. Installs in a snap without much effort to adjust position and it holds its position like iron. It's all thanks to smart, positionable magnetic clasps that turn on and off with the push of a button. So you put your pinboard where you need it, flip the switches, and voila, you have a dependable assistant right where you need it. The only downside is that I can't use it on my router table which is made of MDF. Every once in a while you come across a really great piece of engineering, and that's it.
