I have previously made a 1.26 x 1/8" N52 magnetic knife holder from App**nets. This time I have some cheaper 1.26" x 1/8's Bought "magnets from D**MAG and 1.26" x 0.06" (1/16") N52 magnets from Z***ma to use in the new knife holder. I then did a rough comparison with a scale to see how much weight each magnet could lift with just the narrow edge of the keyring touching the magnet. This 1.26 x 1/8" from App***nets can lift 13 oz while the others can lift 6.5 and 3.7 oz for D**MAG and Z***ma respectively. That difference was noticeable even without using scales. The two cheaper grades are most likely the same grade N based on roughly halving the strength from 1/8th to 1/16th the thickness. Despite this, they are not in the same N category as App*** nets.I am giving these 4 stars because they are durable and not falsely advertised as a higher grade N than they are and great packaging and glue included. However I am unsure about using them in my new knife holder .I could combine them and thin ones to increase their strength instead of buying new magnets.
