Not corrosion resistant!
Lasted from late last November until our first false alarm at 3am in January 2014. Salt and water from our daily driver ate into it during the first month of typical New England road works. I walked around this area for a month until I felt motivated to just add a resistor to my Vista 20p panel. This won't help you, but I just made my own microswitch using a cam mounted on our doors. Look elsewhere if you live in an area where the roads are salted at least once a year.
