I have a very stubborn girl who likes to bark. Barking at the right time is one thing, but the habit of "barking at EVERYTHING" has proven difficult. We've had this device for a few weeks now and I think she FINALLY got the idea. If someone is at the door (appropriate barking), we do not use the collar. But when, for example, my husband gets up to grab a snack (the time she barks inappropriately), we use an incremental correction (beep, then vibrate, then shock). So far it's working (slowly) and giving me hope that we can teach this stubborn girl what's good and what's not.
