Consumption 2.5 l TJ. in the air intake

I have a 2.5 liter TJ, everyone says don't waste your time but I did it anyway. There's no noticeable increase in performance and it sounds crappy. I also bought the intake recommended throttle body gasket and still no noticeable change.
