Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 315/45 R21 116Y summer by Micha Poklkowski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

I didn't even anticipate this happening. Prior to that, there was premiumcontact5, and the contrast between that and now is like night and day. The ride in the ancient car was enjoyable. Calm and gentle, with the fortress not being in any way inferior to this one. This is a challenging one. When I was driving about the city on this rubber for almost six months, I became familiar with all types of asphalt, from the roughest to the smoothest, because all of the abnormalities of the coating were quickly conveyed to the salon. Yes, the wheel arches on my vehicle do not make any noise, but the winter tires that were provided after this one were not studded and came from a less well-known Serbian brand that was in the value range, which was twice as inexpensive. rides totally silently; I can hardly hear the engine going, let alone the gears turning, and there is virtually no noise at all, despite the fact that she has not yet warmed up. This was not even more so with regard to this rubber. While there is a lot of background noise when driving in the city, the situation is not at all problematic when you are on the highway. The overarching conclusion is that tires designed specifically for the track and long curves in any conditions are essential. You can get wild on the track because the hook is so insane, but I can't take it in my day-to-day life anymore, and I will absolutely switch it up for the following season.

Pros
  • Pts strong rubber, often caught a curb when parking, even though there are no traces, because it seems tough, and this is partly a con, which is covered further down in more detail. It feels like it's on rails once you get up to speeds of more than 100 kilometers per hour. in any kind of weather and under any kind of load. The driving style is fairly harsh, hard coilovers are installed, and in such conditions the rubber works out to 100%. The grip was always there, regardless of the weather, but only on asphalt.
Cons
  • Pts is loud and has trouble keeping track of its position at low speeds. Poor traction in wet and muddy conditions. A few times I was unable to move forward without having to push. On Hong KongiumContact5, we did not experience any issues of this nature. The weight of the rubber is something that may be experienced by the user.
