I used this Vivid Vanquish visor on a 44 mile night ride tonight. The lighting is bright at first and then quickly dims to complete darkness. I use Lumina 700 and my buddy had a bright light too. The visor was surprisingly clear. So much so that I liked the night vision with a visor better than with the naked eye. The visor seemed to improve the clarity of my vision. I was very surprised how clear it was at night. It's slightly tinted, I wouldn't even call it tinted, but it didn't affect night vision. Yes, I think it is suitable for night driving.
