I replaced the all the toggle switches in my home 2 years ago (May 2018) and I’ve had 6 failures with these rocker switches. The failures have occurred on high use switches - after the switch has been used enough, it loses the "click” action. I uploaded a video to try and show this. one switch still has the click and the other had failed. On most of the failures, you have to push up with a lot of force for the light to turn on or the light will flicker because the switches connection isn’t solid. This seems very unsafe and I replace the defective switches as soon as possible, usually with Leviton rocker switches. Very frustrated over this purchase. Residential light switches should last decades. Don’t try to save a few dollars by purchasing off-brand switches - if you do, within a few months or years you’ll be buying a new switch and waste time doing the work twice.Other cons - they "feel” cheaper, when I replace a defective switch with a Leviton I immediately notice the difference. The plastic is a lower gauge thickness & weight and the click action is different. The click on these switches is harsh, loud, and you can tell they’re cheap - with a name brand switch, the click is softer and the action feels more firm. Kind of hard to explain but there is a noticeable difference. As I’m replacing these, I realize the most annoying thing about them is that the click is LOUD. like, wake your partner up in the middle of the night because you turned on the hallway light, kind of loud.I’d give this product two stars, which is generous considering the reliability & quality, because I like the color (every manufacturers white is a slightly different tint), the unbranded appearance (Lutron & Leviton stamp their rocker switches), and "value” (price/unit is good. until the product busts).I also replaced all the receptacles in my home with the Enerlites brand - haven’t had any outlet defects yet but the plugging action does feel "cheap”. The only product I’d consider purchasing from Enerlites in the future are their screw-less cover plates. I like that the plates don’t have a visible seam on the sides, unlike other popular manufacturers.I deeply regret recommending these switches to friends and family - they’re a ticking time bomb. Don’t buy these or you’re going to have a bad time. probably not on the day you install them, but give it 6 months. Spend a little extra for a name brand.edit: changing the rating to 1-star because almost every switch has now failed. Avoid the future pain, this product is awful.
